In formula 1 how many lights are there to signal the start of the race?

I've been trying to research this on line but all I can find is the fact that green lights are no longer used and a random sequence is instead, but how many lights are used?

3. the green light is only on during practice and qualifying and at the start of a race 5 red lights go on and when they go out the race starts.
4. There are 5 red lights, which go out 1 by 1 to count down to the start. the lights are out its go go go
5. 5 lights - each comes on with a random time gap before they come out and when the 5 lights go out, the race is on... the pit lane has a red and green light indicating when it is closed/open.
