Had Michael Schumacher won more Grands Prix in his own country than any other Formula 1 driver had?
I mean if other Formula 1 drivers have won more Grands Prix in their won countries than Schumi.

- Alain Prost won the French Grand Prix six times: 1981, `83, `88, `89, `90 & `93. Michael Schumacher won the European Grand Prix (at the Nürburgring) six times: 1994, `95, `01, `02, `04 & `06. Jim Clark won the British Grand Prix five times: 1962, `63, `64, `65 & `67. Juan Manuel Fangio won the Argentine Grand Prix four times: 1954, `55, `56 & 57. Nigel Mansell won the British Grand Prix four times: 1986, `87, `91, 92. Michael Schumacher won the German Grand Prix three times: 1995, `02, `04.
- Michael won the German GP 3 times, but he also won 6 European GPs ('95, '00, '01, '02, '04 and '06) which were also held in Germany (Nurburgring), making a total of 9 wins in his home country.
- Yes, but it's a tie between him and Alain Prost. They've both had six wins at their own home race. Michael also holds the F1 records for: most career wins (91), most wins in a season, most career pole positions, most points during a season (148 in 2004), most consecutive world championships (5), most consecutive race wins (2004), most podium finsihes (154), most laps leading and most fastest laps (76).
- Just to add to what has been said. Prost won 4 Monaco GP's too, technically France?
- Yeah duh, 9 wins right?
- it does help that for a time there are 2 grand prix in Germany there should be a west coast race
