Can fuel injection hose be used for transmission hose?

I got about 10 inches of hose that connects the transmission lines to the radiator. I'm wondering if fuel inj hose would be strong enough and handle the heat for those hoses, or do I have to buy the transmission hose.

1. Yes, it can handle the heat, but not sure it can had the petroleum or chemical makeup of the oils. Cant hurt to try.
2. Can you? Sure. Should you? No, not really.
3. No, Transmission oil will dissolve the rubber and cause more problems. buy oil resistant hose.
4. its not so much the heat as it is the oils will eat at the hose itself. thats why there are specific hoses for specific aplications.
