What are the best seats on Montreal for the Canadian GP Formula 1?

Of course that you could say that the most expensive seats are the best, but maybe some of you experienced Formula 1 fans, know a few secrets about where to seat at Gilles Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal. Any pointers?

  1. corner of champions right before the start finish line most def. or where kubica went crashed last year
  2. I haven't been to the Canadian GP, but I've watched most of them since they moved to Montreal and remember where the action tends to happen. Using this map: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Circuit_Monreal.png I'd say the best places to get a look at the cars going slowly are turns 3 and 11, the places you are most likely to see overtaking are turns 2, 9, 11 and 14. If you want to see how good the drivers and the cars really are (but only for a couple of seconds per lap), then turns 4, 5 and 6 are reckoned to be among the most challenging in F1 to drive quickly.
  3. Just my opinion... In your living-room, in front of the TV! Get to see all the action, with replays, and online live data feeds from http://www.formula1.com! Much cheaper too!!!
  4. i was at the champ car race in 2006 and i was down by the hairpin. It was class. THeres a tv across the way and its where most of the passing happens. If you want to see passing it really is your only option.
