It is possible to change from Fuel Injection system to carburator System ?

I Have a Car, PEUGEOT 406 , 1800 cc, multi-valves (16), built in 1997 France, wiith an engine 8U7JP4 with a Fuel Injection system (Gasoline) and I want to change to carburator system, It is possible this operation, I want to know advantances and disadvantaces and if the car work efficiently with this change. Please let me know the difference between these two systems.

  1. It is possible but why would you want to do that? A properly calibrated fuel injection system will always deliver more power, better fuel economy and smoother delivery of that power than carburettor/s which are always battling a compromise!
  2. Yes you can change it over you will have to find a car that has same motor but later model and get the intake and ignition system from it
  3. It's possible if there is a Carburated version of that same engine. But you don't want to do that like prevoiusly stated. Also fuel injected engines are more reliable and last longer.
