"Megan Racing" Products..?
Does anyone know if products made by Megan Racing are any good? I'm looking to buy parts for my car and found a Strut-Bar (Which are usually $150+) for under $30 BRAND NEW. $29.97 is the listed price on a strut-bar made by Megan Racing. It is apparently a NON-generic brand.. But I've never previously heard of them. Anyone know if it'd be worth going with that?? That'd be a huge as savings on medal rod! Thanks.

- If you are looking to purchase a strut-bar, you are basically looking for frame stability right? I've never really heard of megan racing, but I would double check to see what it is composed of. What type of metal rod is it? There are many cases that I have dealt with among a lot of my friends when they were doing some "spirited" driving, and their off brand strut bar bent / or even snapped :P your frame shifts, so you want something to prevent it from doing so. thus the purpose of a strut bar... now if you have confidence that the $30 metal rod will give you the stability you want for your car... by all means, go for it. But just know quality does make a difference. Sadly i know this all does depend on your budget, lol. I know how that is, but then again, car tuning is never cheap XD. you picked an expensive hobby :P So its either $30 for a not so great one, or $30 saved for a good one.... Hoped I gave some good insight! happy modding!
- I used to have a pair of megan racing mufflers on a 98 grand prix gt and they sounded good. No horsepower increase which is understandable since mufflers are generally just for sound unless you have a complete exhaust system. The sound basically went with the car, deep mellow tone even when you floored it. As far as the strut bar goes, do what I did with my mufflers, compare the image on ebay with the image on other sites and see how they compare. It could just be a knock-off with megan racing stamped on there. I've seen more than a few HKS and Injen cold air intakes on ebay that are fake.
