can i put a catorgry B uneconomical right off back on the road?
i am thinking of up dating my aging motorbike by buying an other which is a cat B loss, i was thinking of using my bike to replace the missing parts on the other and register it, i just need to know if its legal. Many thanks!

- im 80% sure that a cat B can never go back on the road. I think it can only be stripped of parts then crushed
- No, do it the other way around. A Category B is a vehicle from which spare parts may be salvaged, but the vehicle itself should be crushed and should never return to the road.
- You can't put a cat B back on the road. Economic write-off's are either cat C or D. My broker explained all this to me very well a few weeks back. Now i am the owner of a cat C write-off. If the frame is ok on your bike i suggest you strip the write-off and do it the other way around like Colin said.
