How would I become a Formula 1 racer? I love formula 1 and any other motorsport that comes to mind but I am only in my 4th year at high school and if I need any exams to become a formula 1 racer then now is the time. But is it a real career?
How much slower is NASCAR than Formula 1? I've seen the NASCAR stuff on TV a couple of times before. I wondered how much slower they are compared to Formula 1. Also, who is the Michael Schumacher of NASCAR? Does anyone know?
Why was Mc Laren allowed to stay in Formula 1 when caught cheating. Alonso and Hamilton would still get paid. It's amazing that Formula 1 management did not throw the book at McLaren. Despite Denis's denial that he was squeaky clean and Alonso and Hamilton stating they were whiter than white the truth was plain to see. Then there is Peter Stephney a supposedly loyal Ferrari employee. Did someone believe he was working against Ferrari. Was the white powder put in the Ferrari engines prior to races by this man. Did the Governing Body not rule that that race was void. They could do it when the appeal is launched by Ronnie Boy. He is still shouting the odds that he is completely innocent. In most racing circles all the staff including the drivers see what is going on. They are all culpable and all should pay for cheating. A blind person could see that the fantistic start after the first couple of races meant one thing. They copied someones design and the planted spy in the camp made it easy. I say now to the Formula 1 Governing Body. Get this right and ban McLaren till next year.
Why is motorbike racing not as popular as Formula 1? It always seems to me far more interesting, a lot more characters, and more skilful riders. Formula 1 is so technical you races are one and lost on the aerodynamics of a piece of plastic, yawn. I know F1 has its glamour’s side but as a sporting event it’s a bit dullard aint it.
Could you have a car chase on the street involving a Formula 1 car? Let's say you're agent 007 and you're trying to catch an international thief who's taking off in a regular car. All you have available is a Formula 1 car with a full tank. Is it physically possible to have a car chase? Would the street damage the race car? How long before you run out of gas? How fast could you go on the highway? The logistics of procuring the car are all worked out since you're at a multi-millionaire villain's lair and got ahold of his hobby race car.
Should a new venue be built for formula 1 in the United States? I just don't quite get the appeal with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The track is just not suited to Formula 1 racing at all in my opinion and the course is quite unimaginative. Do you think that resources should be invested into building a brand new state of the art track in the United States to bring up national viewership for Formula 1?
What do you think are the best moments of Formula 1 ? Most people would say mansell or senna. But I wasn't born when they were around so I couldn't see there races. Senna past away in 94. I was born in 93. So I would have been at least one if I saw the his races. But I saw a few races of senna, mansell etc on youtube and they were Brilliant !!! But in present Formula 1 or past I would say the best moments would be Massa wining his first race ! He was crying and he hugged schumacher ! What do you think ? neilgtti we have 4 brits !
Is it appropriate to boycott Ferrari as a brand because of the current situation in Formula 1? My opinion is that Ferrari, and not McLaren, are responsible for the over-politicized Stepney-gate controversy in F1. I will personally not purchase any Ferrari, Marlboro, or Formula 1 branded merchandise, and will instead support Vodaphone McLaren Mercedes brands whenever possible because of Ferrari's actions during the 2007 Formula 1 Championship. Further, because of BMW/Sauber's comments in the opinion of how they would receive a constructor's award in this year's championship, I will similarly endeavor to support those companies as well in lieu of what I perceive as greedy, controlling actions by Ferrari/Marlboro with regard to the FIA and F1 as a motorsport. I didn't ask if McLaren were at fault for "spying". In fact, I consider every participant in F1 to be guilty of the same effort, if potentially less successful. I plan to boycott Ferrari not because they are guilty, but because they are dragging the sport through the mud. Looks to me like the Italian government caught 007, and I for one will back the British spy. I have read the WSMC decision, and believe that (1)none of the information that McLaren gained from Ferrari from Stepney is any more significant than the information that Ferrari would have gained about McLaren from Kimi Räikkönen (I don't care if they want to put hydrogen, xenon, or polonium 210 in their tires), and (2)it is likely that McLaren's response to the fact that they realized Coughlan's source was attempting to entrap them is the most appropriate. (In this case, according to Mr. Neale, it was to recommend the destruction of the illicit pictures Stepney offered to Coughlan.
Do you think whats happeing to Alonso in Formula 1 is tragic? Upon coming to Mclaren, Alson improved the mclaren car to meet his needs, then, Hamilton took many lessons from the two time world Champion, then... Hamilton and Mclaren stabbed Alonso in the back...and the latest scandal.... FIA does not penalise Hamilton for what 21 other drives say was a bad move by Hamilton when he all of a sudden slowed down almost to a complete stop causing Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel accident in last weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix. Is there too many politics in Formula 1? Is it because Hamilton is English and some people want an English Champion? Never the case, I feel sorry for Alonso. He is without a doubt the most superior driver in formula 1 today... and got back stabbed by Hamilton and his team. Very sad and tragic.
How much is a Formula 1 ticket ($)? can i buy online? I am from Asia and as early as now, i'm planning to watch a formula 1 race in Malaysia or in Shanghai or Singapore...next year!!! how much will it cost me? anyway..i hope raikonnen or hamilton will win the race this year..not alonso!!!
Do you think jeff gordon should join formula 1? Well i think he should because he has proven to be a sucessful nascar race car driver. He is great in the road courses too considering that formula 1 is all road course races. He can be known worldwide if he decided to join F1. What do you think about this?
Is NASCAR formula 1 or any of that stuff really considered a sport? Is there any skill involved, or is it just the car you drive. Have you ever actually watched a whole race. Formula 1 is more of a sport then NASCAR, and there is a bit of skill in the turns and stuff, but they are still both just based on the car you drive. Thanks for the nice answers, I think it involves a bit more skill now. Do you consider the drivers athletes. Hemingway is a retard.
Do NASCAR fans seem to find the Formula 1 people a little "uptight"? i've noticed the Formula 1 people come here and try to "badwrap" NASCAR, and the NASCAR fans seem so gracious as not to offend these people. And if you try to ask/answer questions in the Formula 1 section, you have to deal with sarcastic responses. Or is it the small amount of activity that goes on in Formula 1 that makes their fans upset about NASCARs popularity?
Where can I watch the Australian GP Formula 1 online from the US? I am in the US, would like to watch formula 1 races online, including tonight's Australian Grand Prix. I have seen some ads e.g. to watchlivef1.com - is this any good and is it legal (Web site doesn't look that trustworthy), or are there other and better options? Thank you!
how can I rent my house during the formula 1 in İstanbul? I have a house only 20 km far from the İstanbul park arena. I want to rent it only for people who will come here for formula racing. It is a house with the garden and swimming pool. Consisted of 3 bedrooms and sofa with kitchen etc.
What makes Formula 1 Better than NASCAR? One of the biggest reasons I like Formula 1 better than NASCAR is that I don't have to watch all those cars go around in an oval track and there are right turns.
